Many hands are involved in forming our sets, from the creation of the bowls to slipping the completed sets into protective bags for shipping. Our logo depicts hands holding a bowl of blessings, and this is both literal and figurative.

The first sets of hands we think of when describing our sets are the hands that put our sets together: those at the Work Activity Center. The Work Activity Center is an organization dedicated to assisting adults with disabilities by teaching them job skills and providing work opportunities for them, and Jeff Jacobsen is currently the angel who guides these workers through the process of creating a Blessings Bowl set. We have worked with this group since our inception, and know that our connection with these people is a large part of who we are. As a company we strive to create partnerships with companies who share our vision, and who, along with us, are shaping our communities with a healthy awareness of human dignity.

Four more hands belong to two artisans who reside in Utah and create art from simple earthen clay. Kevin Winn of Sugarpost Pottery & Metal has been with us since the beginning, and has used his hands to create thousands of beautiful, unique stoneware bowls for us to pass along to you. Jim Simister of Sunstone Pottery teamed up with us in 2007, and adds his expertise in throwing stoneware bowls to our stable of co-creators. We are grateful to each of these artists who bring their own talents and creativity to our line.

All of our beautiful boxes are made by Utah Paperbox. The people of UPB help us bring our vision to life, and their employees who have their hands involved in the actual production process are vital to our existence. Many hands work together to manufacture our distinctive boxes.

Numerous other hands are involved in forming our other bowls, graphics, additional components, and completed sets. These hands come from different backgrounds, live in different places, sometimes speak different languages, but have one vital element in common: they all belong to human beings. Human beings with hearts, hearts that love and continually search out ways to connect with one another.
